Dr. Tom Lopp
Education: Undergraduate Pittsburg State University and Graduate Kansas State University BS 1990 DVM 1992.
We welcomed Dr. Lopp into Family Animal Care in 2020 and is happy to be a part of our team! He grew up in Columbus, KS, and was a tool and die maker for 8 years before returning to Veterinary school.
In his spare time, Dr. Lopp enjoys spending time with his wife, target shooting, and metal work.
Dr. Drew White
Education: Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine
Dr.Drew White received his D.V.M. in 2013 from Iowa State University and completed his pre-veterinary studies in ISU’s Department of Animal Science.
We welcomed Dr. Drew into our Family Animal Care in 2019 and he is eager to meet the wonderful clients and patients in our community.
In his spare time, Dr. Drew enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as his dogs and rabbits.
Whitney is a boy mom to both two and four-legged boys. If I am not working, I am spending time with my family in outdoors, boating, fishing, hiking, hunting, farming, and camping.
Jersey Greever graduated from Davis County high school and is now attending Indian Hills community college in the radiology program. She intends to use her radiology degree to become a traveling Rad Tech. Jersey enjoys the quick pace work environment and seeing all of your friendly faces walk through the door! In her free time, she enjoys walking her dogs around town and spending time with her siblings.
Danielle loves to spend time outdoors and traveling with her friends, and family. She loves camping and traveling with her animals Rosie and Willa; both Australian shepherds. She has worked for Family Animal care since 2016!
Chloe graduated from William Penn University with a BA in Biology and Criminology. She joined our team in 2017 and enjoys hiking, gardening, and hanging out with her dogs Coco, Doug, and Penelope in her spare time.
Melinda loves to spend time with her husband and their 5 dogs! In her free time, she enjoys hiking, exploring her new property, and training dogs.
Kiera enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter on their “funny farm” with mini pigs, a cow, chickens, goats, the lonely duck, and her dogs Kiya and Milly. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as going camping and being outdoors.
Kaitlyn has been a part of our team for over 4 years. From starting her work in Kennels to now becoming one of our wonderful receptionists! Kaitlyn Emery was born and raised here in Ottumwa and grew up on her family’s farm. Kaitlyn has spent over 12 years learning and working with animals through the Wapello County 4-H Program. Kaitlyn has always been an animal lover and can’t wait to continue her passion in this field of work!
Kelsey enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two sons doing anything outdoors. They love taking their dog Briar to the creek looking for arrowheads!
